Restaurant Villa Ortega's

On Sept 21, 2007, we drove accross the border into Mexico. The main goal is to head for ‘Restaurant Villa Ortega’s‘ in the village of Puerto Nuevo.

The restaurant is located on the southwest corner of the village. Look for 20 foot brass shark and the 10 foot boat propeller at the entrance to the restaurant parking lot. There are three dining area choices: inside, upper deck outside, lower deck outside. We picked the lower deck area. The view is spectacular. The food is fantastic. The price is very reasonable. My ‘lobster and shrimp’ plate is about $20. All lunch menu include an awsome ‘tortilla soup.

We spent the rest of the day touring and shopping for souvenirs in Ensenada. Oh, and Jessica got her hair braided … here’s a picture of her getting her hair done.

On the way back to US, we stopped by Rosarito to eat authentic, delicious, freshly cooked carne asada tacos (at El Norteno).

Check out this album in our gallery for more pictures.
